CHELAN CABIN

The Cabin (aka Chelan Shack) is FINISHED! Well at least, close enough. If you know my parents, you know that there is no such thing as a project-free home ;) The boys did great on the 3ish hour drive over and absolutely loved running around the cabin and playing with their Mimi, Papa, & Uncle Jon. We got to check out a couple wineries with the whole fam and then Saturday evening Dave, Jon, and I went to a local pub while my parents watched the boys. It was a perfect little weekend get-away. We can't wait to go back. Connor even cried when we had to leave. So thankful for a sweet family and the amazing gift of a family cabin over in Chelan, WA

IT'S A BOY!

If you didn't know/hadn't guessed already, we're pregnant! Again! It's a boy! Again! We just got the good news this morning that another sweet, healthy boy will be joining our family sometime in early June. We're all so excited. Connor has been carrying around one of baby boy's ultrasound photos all morning since our appointment and talking about how he has to "grow big like dada" before he can "come out of mama's tummy". Yeah, no 6'3" babies please. Oh toddlers.

CHRISTMAS LETTER 2016

Well we are way late on our Christmas letter this year and I didn't even send out physical cards. So if you didn't get a card from us, don't worry, it's not because we don't love you anymore.

For the most part it was a normal year of enjoying being a family of four and feeling settled in our house of 3 years...until the last half of the year when we decided to do everything all at once. I opened an Etsy shop in late June. I have absolutely loved running my little side business on top of being full time with the boys at home. It's been a great creative outlet and stress reliever for me! I'm also super lucky that Dave loves the numbers and helps keep the business going by keeping track of all the financials.

MICHIGAN 2016

This Christmas we flew to Michigan for two weeks to spend the holidays with Dave's family. It was such a great time spent with family. The boys were incredibly spoiled by all their Aunts and Uncles and of course by Grandma and Grandpa. It was in the low teens temperature-wise for the first week, so although it was a winter wonderland, we didn't do too much outside until it warmed up a bit the second week. However Connor and Braden absolutely loved sledding and playing in the snow. We celebrated Christmas a week early since Lindsey was in town from Arizona that weekend,

CONNOR TURNS 3

Happy birthday sweet Connor!! I can't believe you are already three years old. You are full of personality and opinions and just the sweetest little boy.

You love playing with your castle and dragon toys, and even sometimes share nicely with Braden 😉

LIFE LATELY

So we've been basically MIA on the blog for like three months now. Whoops. Things got a little crazy between moving and winter colds/flus/life. My MIL came to stay with us for three whole weeks to help us keep everything together and it was the biggest blessing ever. Seriously amazing. I don't know how we would have juggled the kids and getting the house ready to sell and everything else that was going on without her.

MOM STYLE

Two weeks after Connor was born I had my first outing where I had to put on actual real clothes...I stood in front of my burgeoning closet and cried. All these clothes and nothing to wear. I felt so defeated and so unhappy with my body. I figured ok - time to buy new clothes that will work with this weird postpartum body.
