Graphic Design, Hand Lettering, Laser Cutting, and much more…
When asked what I do for my “side business”, I always have the hardest time boiling it down to a simple single sentence. I am a maker. I make things. After graduating from the University of Washington I spent a few years as an event planner and graphic designer for our church. I quickly fell in love with weddings and over the top parties, but not so much the day-of coordinating stress.
Looking for a way to incorporate my passion for events and graphic design I began to dabble in invitation suite design and the miscellaneous other graphic design needs of weddings and events. Naturally I became enraptured by hand lettering and calligraphy. I opened a small Etsy shop for a few years utilizing my new-found love of hand lettering. Eventually that evolved into creating custom event signage and paper products for weddings and special events, as well as the occasional home decor and holiday pieces.
Now we are embarking on a new endeavor; laser cutting. My 3 years in the Landscape Architecture department of the University of Washington allowed me (nearly) unlimited access to a laser cutter and I’ve been dreaming of my own ever since. However until recently owning a commercial laser cutter in a home setting was not possible. Now technology has changed and we are planning to purchase our own home laser cutter in the following months. We will be offering products ranging from party needs such as custom cake toppers, stir sticks, place cards, and signs; to home decor items such as custom prints, signs, coasters, and more.
Excited? We are! Feel free to reach out on the meantime regarding our other products and services! We are open for business.
