Home Made Snow Cones

Since we were stuck in our house for days surrounded by snow and I finally had some energy again, I decided to make snow cones for the boys at home! These were crazy easy. If you’ve ever made simple syrup, you’ll know exactly how I did this. Just simple syrup, food coloring, and a few mason jars and you’re all set!

Simple Syrup

1. Boil 1 cup water

2. Stir 1 cup sugar

3. Reduce heat

4. Stir until sugar fully dissolved

5. Remove from heat and allow to cool

6. Divide into sealable containers

7. Add food coloring

8. Refrigerate

9. Using syringe, apply different colors to small bowl of snow

10. Enjoy!
