Connor and Braden have shared a room ever since we found out Duncan existed. They have always loved sharing a room and while it has it’s moments of being frustrating and not ideal, it is usually a wonderful thing. One of the biggest things we’ve been dealing with is bedtime delay tactics. One of the issues is simply that the covers get tangled and they lose track of their stuffed animals. I had seen Beddy Beds a few years ago, and had decided that it was an expensive racket and not worth my time or money.

Well after the millionth time of having to resettle Connor or Braden one night, I woke up the next morning to a friend posting about her children’s beddy beds. As I was wrestling their beds back into order I decided I was over this and it was time to bite the bullet. My friend Cassie lent me her two Beddys Beds to test out color options (yes I’m that indecisive). As I was doing this Duncan was of course jumping from bed to bed. Guess which bed set stayed made and neat the entire time my toddler was ransacking everything? The Beddys Bed. I basically placed the order that second.

We got the minky boho set for both Connor and Braden. They have LOVED it. The literally stuff their beds full of stuffed animals and blankets every night, zip themselves up, and are good to go for the evening (except for the million bath room trips and water bottle refills…you can’t win em all!).

I also am slowly transitioning the theme of their bedroom to be less generic nursery styling and more towards their actual interests. Connor has demanded lego decor so, here I am trying to find chic lego and video game prints. It’s not been the easiest task, but we’re getting there!
